Eyes of Aimlessness

You know what I notice most about this generation? Kids are bored. It's an era of boundless access to knowledge, travel, art, social circles, entertainment, fun and pleasure. And yet, I hear the echoing cries of boredom. I see vacuous eyes of aimlessness.

You know why? It's because all these 'fun' things - popular as they may seem - are mere distractions. Full of colour and noise, but ultimately hollow things that don't fill up the mind or satiate the soul. Not all are bad. But in the end, just think, where did all your time go and what are you left with? The thing itself may not be bad, but it's how you use it & what you do with it that counts.
