Funny, I always seem to only just have enough for the next adventure or endeavour! Goes to show that even if you don't have alot of money left in the bank, you can still live a life that's full of new experiences and challenges. Because a full life isn't ultimately determined by how much money you got. It's about how much you're willing to give and let go, knowing that money doesn't last, possessions are quick to fade. I'll forever be thankful to my Dad and Mom for showing me that it doesn't matter how much or little you have, you can still be generous with yourself and others!
Sure, if you must save the money, save (I definitely need some saving skills because I am terrible at saving and keeping track of money! If someone were to take money from my wallet - which my parents and sisters have done as a practical joke on me to see if I'd notice - I wouldn't notice it!).
Having said that, you must also learn that when you have the opportunity to spend it for something you know won't pass your way again, spend. If you can use it for good, use, don't hoard. Because how will you know if you'll even live tomorrow to hoard more money for the next day?
As the young missionary martyr Jim Elliot said, "He is no fool who gives up what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose."
No fool indeed!
