The More I Know the Less I Know

The more I know, the less I realize I know. The less I realize I know, the more I am moved to believe. The more I believe, the more obvious becomes my unbelief. But here's the mystery, God meets us at our unbelief! Now I realize the power of knowing the limits of your finite understanding - it's the beginning of humility and true seeking.

Without humility, there can be no revelation. Without revelation, meaning is obscured. Apart from meaning, life is devastatingly absurd. And I couldn't bear to live a life of meaningless absurdity.

But THANK GOD, there IS a purpose-filled Reality that exists for us to seize. In seizing it, we surrender to the Truth and are thus radically transformed by it.
