War Zone

If only you realized that you’re in a war-zone, a real life battlefield, you would not tread so carefully, so selfishly. You would wake up every day knowing you’re assigned to a mission that requires faith, courage, and full commitment. A mission not to kill, not to maim – but to bind up the wounded, to quench the thirsty throats of screaming children, to embrace fallen fighters and dying countrymen, to comfort the afflicted, to rescue the hostages, to sing songs of healing, to suffer with the downtrodden. If the reality of life should hit you, you'd stop squandering the significance of your life and love radically till the final moment.
